Occupational Therapist at Nurture Newlands – Cape Town

Our Group Practice at Nurture Newlands is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their team.

Requirements, Experience and Qualifications/Training

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy (community year completed)
  • Current HPSCA registration
  • Membership for malpractice insurance
  • Experience in a rehabilitation environment would be advantageous

Key Competencies/Outcomes

  • Good written and spoken English language skills
  • Awareness of evidence-based practices for interventions.
  • Computer literacy (medical reports and Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Desire to work in an interdisciplinary team with therapists, doctors and nursing
  • Willingness to create and partake in projects to create a sound rehabilitation environment
